Parks have the potential to improve health, strengthen communities, and connect people to nature . . . but only if people go! Unfortunately, most neighborhood parks are underused. There is no single “right” way to activate a park, and each community is different. However, recent research studying park use in parks across the country has identified some the most consistently successful strategies for increasing park use.
